Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of 4 to Freestyle (4-to-freestyle.com), the course, and the Water's Edge community, operated by Audrey Holmes, trading as 4 to Freestyle. By creating an account or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms.

Course access

4 to Freestyle is a self-paced, pre-recorded video course sold in tiers (Class One, Class Two, the Classes One & Two Bundle, and the Complete Course) — see pricing. Purchasing a tier gives you lifetime access to that tier's lessons and resources, and you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time and pay only the difference.

“Lifetime access” means access for as long as 4 to Freestyle continues to operate and offer the purchased course. It does not mean access for the remainder of your life. If we discontinue a course, we'll try to give reasonable notice and to keep any downloadable resources available for you to download.

Personal account use

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Course access is personal to you. You may not share your account, or copy, record, publish, resell, or distribute the videos or materials.

Water's Edge community

Enrolled students get access to our private community, Water's Edge. Please be kind — see the community guidelines. We may moderate or remove content, and suspend or remove access, for anyone who doesn't follow them.

Swim safely — please read this

4 to Freestyle teaches technique and awareness in the water. It is not a substitute for supervised, in-person swim instruction or lifeguard supervision, and it is not medical advice.

• Swimming carries an inherent risk of injury and drowning. Only swim in water and conditions appropriate to your ability, and never swim alone in open water.
• If you have a health condition that could affect your ability to exercise or swim safely, consult a qualified medical professional before starting.
• You're responsible for your own safety and for judging what you're ready to try. Progress at your own pace, and stop if you feel unwell or unsafe.
• We can't guarantee any particular result — everyone learns at a different pace, and outcomes depend on practice, individual circumstances, and conditions outside our control.

Payments and refunds

Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, in US dollars, and payments are handled securely by our third-party payment provider. Every course purchase is refundable within 14 days — see our Refund Policy for how it works. When you upgrade, you're only charged the difference.

Ownership of course content

All course content — the videos, text, Swim Missions, downloadable resources, images, and the 4 to Freestyle name and branding — belongs to us. Buying a course gives you a personal, limited licence to view the classes you own for your own learning. You may not copy, record, publish, resell, distribute, scrape, or commercially use any part of it.

Service availability and misuse

We aim to keep the Service available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or issues with the third-party platforms we rely on. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or misuse the Service or the community.

Your responsibility and your rights

You use the course at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety in the water (see Swim safely, above). To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4 to Freestyle and Audrey Holmes are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the course or the community. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded, including your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the course and community evolve. We'll change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we'll give reasonable notice. Changes apply going forward and don't remove access you've already paid for.
